Books are Asin's best friend

Actress Asin reveals she is an avid reader and her passion keeps her occupied most of the time.
"I am extremely passionate about reading and like to read about anything and everything under the sun. Right from fiction to non-fiction to something as heavy as philosophical gyaan to something as light and entertaining as Archie comics, the habit of reading has been deeply inculcated in me," Asin reveals.
The actress adds, "I was always fond of books right since my childhood days. Even as a teenager books were my company. Not that I did not have friends but books kept my occupied most of the time. Even today when I travel I always looking for books. I am always on my toes looking for new stuff especially when am at the airport. As soon as I enter one the first thing that I do is visit the book store there. Funny as it may sound but the bookstore staff at Mumbai and Chennai airport are well familiar with me by now. In fact the staff at the book store in Chennai airport know me so well that the minute they spot me, they keep a pile of Archie comics ready for me to just pick up."
